I am a romance novel junkie....My lastest reading:
Rival's Desire
Sultry singer Vivian Desmond would do anything for her grandmother—anything but work with her childhood enemy, Caesar Morrison. He's all grown up, but the famous pro athlete still enjoys getting under her skin. Now their matchmaking grandmothers think handing over the family business will turn spitfire rivals into lovebirds, but the man makes Vivian's blood boil.
Okay, there was definitely something…hot…under all the years of feuding, and maybe it's time Caesar did something about it. Vivian always made him lose control, and now he knows why. She doesn't care about his fame, fortune or fine looks. She just knows him too well. Now all he wants is to know her—every inch of her—for a lifetime.
A journey through my life, my thoughts, my experiences, my laughter, and my pain. All about the mom, wife and especially me. To contact me, please email me at momwifemedaily@gmail.com

Friends- A long one!!!
The other day, I sat and thought about my friends and our relationships. Most of my good friends know that I am far from needy as friendships goes. I realize that everyone has a life and cant give all their time to me. Vice Versa. I might not call everyday but I will check on you and think about and love you!
But what about those friends that just....well the shitty ones?
I had a friend(she might even read this but hey.) who called me her best friend. I realized after I reminded her that my life will not revolve around her. Contact stopped. Believe me, I wasnt trying to be mean or an asshole but I had a life and she had a life. One could not conform to each others lives if it did fit the needs of your own. This isnt personal but the truth. Does that make me an asshole??
While being the type of person that I am. I am not going to fake. I dont have her number anymore. I said if she doesnt want the effort of friendship....FUCK her. So I just deleted her contact info and just kept on with life. Well I realized that I still get email forwards from her. I said to myself....SELF stop being a dick. Check on the girl and see how her kids are doing. If nothing else, I really do care about her kids. But anyway, I bit the bullet and emailed her. I tried to be as cordial as I could.
Yea, I know I dont NEED her as a friend but when someone calls you a best friend, I am curious to what happened. After that one email (because the content of both emails are worthless and meaningless to even write about) I realized why bother wasting valuable time on worthless people in my life. Dont get me wrong. I dont think anything bad should happen to the chick but why was I trying to open a line of communication to someone that clearly clueless what a friendship REALLY is.
Looking back this wasnt an healthy friendship anyway. I was going through issues of moving to a new place leaving all friends behind and I went through a depression. Even this friendship bought issues to my marriage. I know that I have grown and hopefully her too. I just realize that Good friends are hard to find. Some people come in your life for seasons and others for a lifetime. I try to be a friend of a lifetime but also realize that everyone isnt going to be THAT friend.
Friends are a pretty important part of most people's lives. Research shows that having quality relationships increases your likelihood of being happy - so it's good for your happiness to be a great friend and to have a group of close friends surrounding you too.
A good friend might be someone who's there to provide support when times are tough, or someone you can rely on to celebrate a special moment with you.
You might see them every day, once a year, or less. You might hardly see them at all but instead keep in touch via telephone, email, or online.
Friends might come and go in your life, they might make you laugh and cry, but most importantly of all they love you for who you are. It doesn't matter what a person looks like or what kind of clothes they wear, but it's what's on the inside that counts. It's the actions they take, no matter how big or small, to show you how much of a good friend they are, and being there for you no matter what, even when things are incredibly important!
What is a Good Friend?
This is how a number of young people responded when asked "What makes a good friend?"
•Someone who will support you no matter what.
•Someone you can trust and who won't judge you.
•Someone who won't put you down or deliberately hurt your feelings, but will show kindness and respect.
•Someone who will love you not because they feel they have to because you're their friend, but because they choose to.
•Someone whose company you enjoy and whose loyalty you can depend upon.
•Someone who will be there no matter what your situation is.
•Someone who is trustworthy and not afraid to tell you the truth, no matter how hard it is sometimes.
•Someone who can laugh when you laugh.
•Someone who will stick around when things get rough.
•Someone who makes you smile.
•Someone who can accept you for who you are, and just lend you an ear when you need to whine or complain.
•Someone who will cry when you cry.
•Someone who will give you room to change.
Well anyway, Long ramble short:
You're.......my friend---my companion
through good times and bad
my friend, my buddy
through happy and sad
beside me you stand
beside me you walk
you're there to listen
you're there to talk
with happiness, with smiles
with pain and tears
i know you'll be there
throughout the years
