100 degrees out there

and what are you doing with your kids? I feel like I am going to melt as soon as I open my door in the morning. I think I may get Shaggy shaved down because its just that darn hot. I feel sorry for the dog. At least he is a smarty. He paces himself outside. He goes out for 10-15 minutes intervals just to look around and then to cool down. Mind you he is the spitting image of the Shaggy Dog. Who is that? Google people :). What are you doing to keep the kids busy and not stuck in the house. Its strange to not see kids outdoors. I know I dont what them out in the heat but I also dont want them packing on the lazy pounds. Ohhhhh, and I dont want to go broke doing it. My grocery bill has gone up one hundred bucks just having them home for the summer. GREEDY kids. LOL!!!

I challenge you

On Friday I will starting a 8 week weight loss challenge. I am going to get myself into a pair of  size14 jeans. I am current a size 16. I want to see how close I come to fitting these jeans comfortably. I will be posting weekly pictures to show you my progression. Now my real challenge is going be living in transit. I am moving next month and I have to this on the highway with me. I will post back on Friday's. I hope you join me.

Where did they go??

I was weighing in and posting my weight in my blog but it has disappeared. Well I weighed in Friday and I weighted 213.5. I am quited amazed. I am 13.5 lbs away from my first mini goal. I said in February that I wanted to go to 242 to 200 in about 6 months. I am headed there. I am just about there. I just have to keep pushing. I didn slack last week. I tell you that motivation thing is a bitch. I had all the motivation in the world and then one week of no exercising has really but a strain on me. Monday I am starting fresh.  The only way I am going to lose this weight is by determination. I feel great. I see the change. I feel the change. Now I just have to bring it. P90X week 5 here I come.

10 years??? Where has the time gone?

On the 17th of June, I just celebrated my 10 year anniversary. I can't believe that I have been married to my great man for 10 years. It seems just like yesterday we were flirting with each other in college 14 years ago. I am very proud to say that I have made it this far. It amazes me though when my husband and I come in contact with people that we knew back then because they find it amazing that we are still marriage and happy. Is marriage really a dying trend. LOL! Yea, that's what it seems to be. Marriage seem to be a trend nowadays. I am truly thankful that God has blessed me with someone that compliments me. I truly believe that God placed us together. I love you hunny!

And this time MaryKay won. It really sucks that companies do not cater more to the African American population. If people do investigational research on the situation, they will find that African Americans spend millions in health and beauty industry and it is limited to what they can buy. I am saying that to say this. ELF works just as well as MaryKay but the color is limited. I will not purchase a product that I need to blend to make the color match. I just will not buy the product. So if ELF offers your color buy it. Its only a buck.

Another Revamp

So I tried to take advice on organizing my posts. Dont like it. Its not me. I cant be on a schedule to write what's on my mind. I just dont like it. Its also probably the reason I havent had the time to really blog. I hate having to think about how my thoughts are going to be laid out on here. SOoOoOO from here on out, I am going to be me. I am going to blog what  I love ....pretty much the same stuff but I am not going to have certain days to write certain things. I love blogging but I think I formatting it sucks ass!!
