A status on facebook thats I will never understand. It kinda crack up every time I see people put that was their relationship status. I mean really what relationship isn't. What does it mean anyway? What does it mean that your relationship is complicated? Can I change my relationship status to complicated if my husband doesn't get me what I want for valentines day. Or can I change my status one day if my husband forgets to clean the kitchen.?
To be absolutely serious, Do people use this status seeking attention (because people ARE nosy and will ask)? Maybe I am just a black and white kind of person. Either you are married or not. Even when separated, you are married. Either you are engaged or not. Either you got the ring, decided against the tradition of the ring, financial restrains, or its being sized. Did he/she ask? Hey, either it's this or that. Just like, Are dating or you are not? Are you able to call them boyfriend or girlfriend in public. If you cant, you are not in a relationship you are in a situation. I see it as there are no in betweens
but that's my opinion (yes, my opinion. I have a lot of it) you are either with a person or you are not.
Maybe you can explain it to me.

LOL i agree you with me or your not! And if it's complicated why even state that, you have the option of not even putting your status up there! I'm with you Dana so dramatic just for FB!
I think it can apply to lots of things. Sometimes people are dating but they feel insecure about it because a divorce isn't final. Or they could be involved in a polyamourous relationship.
I can understand that but why not just say in a relationship. You know how some people are in a polygamous relationship, most don't think that its complicated. It's their way of life. Sometimes I believe that people do for shock value or attention. Everyone shouldn't be privileged to know what goes on in your relationship.
